What Stage are You at?

What is Karma?

A Universal Cause & Effect Phenomenon

Firstly this has nothing to do with any religious belief or ideological inclination. In a nutshell Karma is simply a universal cause and effect phenomenon or 'causality' as they say in a more scientific context. And this is not just a cause and effect based on physical energy but also of metaphysical, emotional and quantum energies that form the basis of our cosmos or broader existence.

The law of Karma is one of the most fundamental in all of science. Right from the ancient Vedic theological texts written thousands of years ago to Einstein's theory of special relativity to the more recent Quantum mechanics, this phenomenon has been debated and discussed for as long as humanity existed.

What does Karma have to do with the food we eat?

Karma manifests itself through the flow of physical, metaphysical, emotional and quantum energies from one point in existence to another across a single dimension or even transcendental across multiple dimensions.

The food that we eat carries an imprint of this Karmic energy at the time of the slaughter or death of the animal or plant we intend to consume. The stronger this energy the greater the Karmic impact such foods can have on humans on consumption.

Different foods exhibit a different Karmic impact or said to carry a different Karmic load on humans. Thousands of years of documented work and discussion in this area shows that mammals (including dairy) may contain the highest Karmic load, followed by birds, fish and plants.

When a mammal is slaughtered the negative emotional energies released during the slaughter process stay imprinted in the meat. These energies carry the fear, pain, desperation and helplessness that the mammal may have been experiencing just before death. When humans consume this meat the same negative energies can impact us and affect our overall well-being.

Due to the nature of the evolutionary process of life forms, mammals experience highest level and intensity of emotions and sensations followed by birds, fish and then plants. This is not to suggest that plants can't experience emotions or feel pain, but certainly they experience this at much lower intensity from a Karmic perspective.

What about Cruelty to Animals?

The phenomenon of Karmic load on the food we eat is not related to cruelty to animals. Cruelty to animals through slaughter is, by all means an action that could lead to Karmic consequences to those involved in the slaughter process, however this is more to do with the flow of Karmic energy through metaphysical and quantum channels from the animal to the human without the actual physical transfer occuring.

Meat eating on the other hand is more the physical transfer of negative energies that impacts humans.

What is the Karmic Diet?

The Karmic Diet is less a diet and more a reflection of what we eat and what Karmic load our food carries. This is more about embarking on a journey from Stage RED towards Stage GREEN at one's own pace based on rationalistic and scientific reasoning and discussion.

The idea of this journey is to move towards reducing the Karmic impact of the food you eat as much as possible that would enable you to live a much more happier, positive, vibrant and healthier life.

Who started the concept of the Karmic Diet?

Nikkhil K Masurkar

The concept of the Karmic Diet was idealised by the pharmaceutical maverick entrepreneur & research scientist Nikkhil K Masurkar. Being a maverick in his field and often called as the “Elon Musk of the Pharma Industry” for his groundbreaking innovations in the eye care and skincare segment, Mr Masurkar hails from a proud pharmaceutical business family that inherits an inspiring legacy that goes back over a 100 years.

Nikkhil is a modern spiritualist and a Sanātanī, guided by the eternal law and universal truths of Sanatana Dharma. He lives by a strict vegan philosophy, following a one-main-meal-a-day practice and a no-weights fitness regimen, while striving to maintain a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. A devout animal lover and outspoken opponent of the dairy, meat, and tanning industries, he embodies compassion in action. To him, science and spirituality are not opposites but two complementary paths—different methods and tools in pursuit of the same universal truth.

Advantages of the Stage GREEN (Plants) Karmic Diet

Better Health & Well-Being

Better Health & Well-Being

Better Health & Well-Being

A Plant-based diet can help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, which are often linked to meat consumption and animal based oils & fats.

Reduce Animal Cruelty

Better Health & Well-Being

Better Health & Well-Being

The inhumane slaughter of billions of animals each year is being masked by the meat and dairy industries worldwide. Shifting to a plant-based diet would not only lower the demand for meat but would also dramatically reduce animal suffering.

Protect the Environment

Better Health & Well-Being

Protect the Environment

The destructive impact of animal agriculture on global environment is well documented scientifically. Sustainable plant-based meat alternatives can signficantly help reduce the negative effects on the environment and our planet.

Uses Less Land

Reduces Emissions

Uses Less Land

Raising animals for human consumption takes up almost 80 of the worlds agricultural land but provides only 20% of our food. Where as plant-based meat uses 47% – 99% less land than conventional meat, with median savings of 93%.

Saves Water

Reduces Emissions

Uses Less Land

Conventional meat production uses nearly a third of all water used for agriculture. However, producing plant-based meat alternatives uses 72% – 99% less water, with median savings of 95.5%.

Reduces Emissions

Reduces Emissions

Reduces Emissions

Animal agriculture contributes more to global climate change than exhaust emissions from the entire transport sector. In comparison plant-based meat production causes 30% – 90% less green-house gas emissions than conventional meat production.

What are Plant-based Proteins?

Plant-based proteins include pea proteins, pumpkin proteins, fava bean proteins, chickpea proteins, mung bean protein, pumpkin protein, red lentin proteins, soy proteins and many more. Many of these proteins are modified to have a better texture and mouthfeel and used as a highly nutritious meat alternative. Such proteins are usually rich in Vitamins & Minerals, Gluten-Free and can form part of a healthier diet.
